  • July 1963 to July 1965.   Captain, US Army Medical Corps, Ft. Benning, Ga.   The Airborne training Center for all services and the Infantry Training Center for the US Army.   Team physician for Ft. Benning's football team.   Performed a follow-up study on the results of treating primary shoulder dislocations with early mobilization (presented in 1972).

  • Developed Hip Arthroscopy and surgical instruments for this procedure known as the Glick Hip Set (now known as the Stryker Hip Kit) - Stryker Endoscopy.
  • Developed arthroscopic assisted ankle fusions for salvaging severely degenerated ankles.
  • The Effects of Stress on the Mineralization of Bone, NASA, Moffitt Field, California. Completed in 1976.
